Child Support problems in the US for Swedish Dads

Svenska försäkringskassan wants to f?=^!k with you?

Never believe the Swedish state is on your side. It is not, it is on the side of everyone else.

Here is how to deal with it

About 2 years ago in October 2010 I was contacted by NASSI the National Agency for Swedish Social Insurance, Försäkringskassan.

It was not a happy event in my life or, as it turned out, in the career of the minor bureaucrat by the name of Olof Petersson who had decided that I was a fugitive criminal who was avoiding payment of support for my children. The truth of the matter was rather different, but dear little Olof:- Self-styled “International Enforcement officer” had quite other ideas.

From his initial boasts of how many “deadbeat dads” he had helped send to prison in the US, to a two-year battle to protect my good name and status in my newly adopted home, he was the eager protagonist, never flagging in his psychotic conviction that I was a major threat to the Swedish state.

If you are reading this and wonder how it started, how I dealt with it and what your rights and duties are if  you have children in Sweden whom you should support, read on. If you need help I can only offer advice and my experience as a retired lawyer fighting the mindlessness of a state apparatus.
